IRONMAN Wisconsin features a demanding 140.6-mile full-distance triathlon anchored in downtown Madison, highlighted by a legendary 112-mile bike course that loops twice through the rolling hills and dairy farmlands of Verona and neighboring rural Dane County.

Start your day with a coffee at Grace Coffee Co. before watching the Iron Man.
The Madison-based local coffee chain expanded to Verona – because locals couldn't get enough of their food and drink throughout the region. Grace Coffee has an expansive menu of delectable eats and hand-crafted coffee drinks.
Favorites include breakfast cocktails (great for brunchin'), breakfast sammies, and everything avocado toast.

For a more substantial breakfast or lunch, check out Gus’s Diner, a dependable meal with good portions. They have all the classics but we'd recommend: chicken and waffles (you won't regret it). As soon as you walk inside, you'll instantly notice a 1950's vibe. The 50's theme is complete with jukeboxes, booths, and diner classics like burgers and shakes.

Check out Toot & Kate's Wine Bar to enjoy a refreshing glass of wine and watch the Ironman participants from the outside patio!
Note: this location is not directly on the route but visible to it

Do yourself a favor by calling in a pickup order at Sugar River Pizza Co. – a local favorite. Try "The Tropics", a variation on a Hawaiian pizza, and the "Rio Grande BBQ Chicken" pizza.
Pro Tip: Call ahead to pick up.
